113 thousand 402 houses were sold in Turkey in September
Housing sales across Turkey decreased by 22.9% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 113,402. Istanbul had the highest share in house sales with 19,089 house sales and 16.8%. According to the number of sales, Istanbul was followed by Ankara with 8thousand 812 sales and 7.8% share, and ÿzmir with 6thousand 338 sales and 5.6% share. The provinces with the lowest number of house sales are 40 houses, respectively. Hakkari with 49 houses, Ardahan with 49 houses and Gümüshane with 98 houses.

Mortgage housing sales amounted to 22 thousand 168
Mortgaged house sales across Turkey decreased by 19.0% in August compared to the same month of the previous year and became 22,168.
The share of mortgaged sales in total house sales was 18.0%. Mortgaged house sales in the January-August period, on the other hand, increased by 39.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 211 thousand 631.
6,654 of the mortgage sales in August; 55 thousand 348 of the mortgaged sales in the January-August period were first hand sales.
Mortgage housing sales amounted to 16 thousand 970
Mortgaged house sales across Turkey decreased by 43.0% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 16 thousand 970. The share of mortgaged sales in total house sales was 15.0%. Mortgaged house sales in the January-September period, on the other hand, increased by 25.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 228 thousand 601.
5 thousand 429 of the mortgage sales in September; 60,777 of the mortgaged sales in the January-September period were first hand sales.
As aresult of other sales types, 96 thousand 432 houses changed hands.
Other house sales across Turkey decreased by 17.8% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 96 thousand 432. Total The share of other sales in housing sales was 85.0%. Other house sales realized in the January-September period, on the other hand, increased by 8.0% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 828 thousand 592.
The number of first-hand housing sales was 35 thousand 954.
The number of first-hand house sales in Turkey decreased by 18.2% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 35 thousand 954. The share of first hand house sales in total house sales was 31.7%. In the January-September period, first-hand house sales increased by 8.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 312 thousand 118.
77 thousand 448 houses changed hands in second-hand house sales
Second hand house sales in Turkey decreased by 24.9% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 77 thousand 448. The share of second-hand house sales in total house sales was 68.3%. Second-hand house sales in the January-September period increased by 12.6% compared to the same period of the previous year and amounted to 745 thousand 75.
5 thousand 49 houses were sold to foreigners in September Housing sales
o foreigners decreased by 23.8% in September compared to the same month of the previous year and became 5 thousand 49. In September, the share of house sales to foreigners in total house sales was 4.5%. Istanbul took the first place in house sales to foreigners with the sales of 1,795 houses. Antalya was followed by Antalya with 1,585 house sales and Mersin with 335 house sales, respectively.
In the January-September period, house sales to foreigners increased by 32.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 49 thousand 644
According to the nationality of the country, the most house sales were made to the citizens of the Russian Federation.
In September, citizens of the Russian Federation bought 1,196 houses from Turkey. Citizens of the Russian Federation were followed by Iran with 592 residences and Iraqi citizens with 433 residences, respectively.
