In Turkey, house sales increased by 25.1% in January compared to the same month of the previous year and became 88 thousand
306. İstanbul had the highest share with 17.1% and 15 thousand 110 house sales. The followers of İstanbul were Ankara with 8 thousand 255 house sales and İzmir with 5 thousand 486 house sales with the share of 9.3% and 6.2% respectively. The provinces with the lowest number of sales were Ardahan with 18, Hakkari with 31 and Bayburt with 44 house sales.
Mortgaged house sales became 18 thousand 183
In Turkey, mortgaged house sales increased by 69.4% in January compared to the same month of the previous year and became 18 thousand 183. Mortgaged house sales had 20.6% share of all house sales.
Other house sales became 70 thousand 123
In Turkey, other house sales increased by 17.2% in January compared to the same month of the previous year and became 70 thousand 123. Other house sales had 79.4% share of all house sales.
27 thousand 203 houses were sold for the first time

In Turkey, second hand house sales increased by 26.5% in January compared to the same month of the previous year and became 61 thousand 103. Second hand sales had 69.2% share of all house sales in Turkey.
In January, 4 thousand 186 houses were sold to foreigners
House sales to foreigners increased by 56.5% in January compared to the same month of the previous year and became 4 thousand 186. House sales to foreigners had 4.7% share of all house sales in January. İstanbul ranked first with a thousand 771 sales to foreigners. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with 914 house sales and Ankara with 269 house sales to foreigners.
House sales were mostly made to Iran citizens according to nationalities
In January, Iran citizens bought 761 houses from Turkey. The followers of Iran citizens were Iraq citizens with 513 house sales and Russia citizens with 479 house sales.
